a new set of photos I worked on yesterday. found some great textures the other night that worked out great with these photos.
we had these wings for ever but were lost in the back of his closet.
he wants to fly just like in Peter Pan… I wish that I could too :)
I enjoy that he loves to play dress up. I so loved it as a kid too. He has such great imagination and play skills.

We had a great day and it was beautiful but hot out. The water was really cold though so it was nice. Noah was scared at first because all the teens were screaming when they floated by us but he warmed up and had a good time. His favorite thing was to throw in rocks from the bottom. All in all it was a nice relaxing day.
Cant believe this is the last week of July? I need to get our school room in order and get started some time next month with back to school. I have not even finished all the projects that I had intended to do around the house. oh well!

He was so happy to be right there with Scooby. He didn't want to leave the area but there was a line. LOL

We went to Six Flags Fiesta Texas on Monday night. Loved that there was no crowds and when the sun went down it was so nice out. Noah loved it so much that we ended up getting season passes so he can enjoy it the rest of the year. I have more photos but wanted to just do Scooby Doo today.
Boy, have I been so tried and worn out. I feel like I just want to sleep but once it is time for bed I just cant seem to sleep? what is up with that? Ok, better go enjoy the rest of the day out with my boys!

I was so excited to get this little box for my anniversary gift and even more… I love this heart key! I wanted to get a photo of us dancing with all blurry but hands but with no camera remote and running into place is kind of hard. LOL We got one of the three of us. I love how the cloud looks like a heart behind the Tiffany box :)
We spent the day in Boerne, a small little town north of San Antonio and these are just some shots from they day.
We ate lunch, walked around town and shopped, found a few vintage finds and went to Mass at an old church and took some photos. It was hot and Noah was in no mood for photos. But, I still went with it.
loved this old truck we found at the park down town and this old aqua bench was just beautiful.
We ended the night with getting to the park an hour early to get good seating and for Noah to run around. Oh, we got Sonic slushies to keep cool. By the time the band started, the sun was down and there was a nice breeze and it was a beautiful night. I cant wait to go back again:)
Joel is on Vacation this week so we are busy getting things done and trying to get to places we never have time to get to. Just enjoying this time and the summer. I am so behind on blog reading and I need to catch up so much but I will find some time to do so. I miss reading and seeing what everyone is up to and finding inspiration.

Seems like forever but only 17 years today.
We dated for 5 years before we got married.
I still love him to the moon.
He makes me laugh every day.
He makes me feel very loved and like a princess.
He is a wonderful Dad and husband.
He is a keeper and I am so happy he is my husband!

Joel finished his Air Force Radiology Tech school today! He just graduated earlier today with his class mates that he has spent over a year with. We are so proud and happy for him! Now, we are off to celebrate the rest of the day!

Joel was able to have lunch with Noah and I yesterday. We went to The Guenther House near down town in the King William District. They serve breakfast and lunch only. They have a museum and general store and flour mill. It sits right on the end of the River Walk. They have indoor and out door eating. We ate outside under the covered patio. It was cloudy and lovely when we went and not too hot but perfect and beautiful. We ate, walked around, saw everything, took photos, bought some flour and headed home so Joel could get back to work. A beautiful day, perfect for relaxing.
I'm taking Picture Summer and I take a ton of photos most days for the word prompt. Most of these didn't make the days pick but I liked them. 1. my new Homer Laughlin “American diner” bowls I got for 75% off at Dillard’s. 2. I got these old wooden bobbins ages ago back in Pa. love them. 3. love these little rice bowls I picked up at some estate sale back in Pa. and love them too. 4. one of the heart shaped rocks I found on the beach a few months back. I love to collect anything heart so I so love this. 5. the small collection I got at the beach with two heart shaped rocks and tiny shells. 6. the old red radio flyer some one was throwing away. I got it a few years ago and Noah loves riding on it even though he has a newer one from when he was 2.
I am late on this but here it is, last Sunday’s word prompt denim in b&w and color below. He was shadow dancing with his sock monkey :)
I bought the new florabella vintage teal texture/paper and I am so in love with the colors. Had to use them in a scrapbook layout and new blog design. I was busy all morning doing this while Joel had duty and Noah busy playing.
My favorite photos to take of Noah are in the tub. We have great light in there and well… he just looks so cute. He asked for Higgly Town Hero’s and Jojo’s Circus this time.
Just as soon as Joel gets home we are off to the outlet mall and dinner out some place good I hope.

we had a good 4th. relaxed and baked and then dinner at my parents.
we missed the fire works this year :( Usually all the bases in town have them but this year with budget cuts only one had them and it was on the other end of town. oh well, we still had a wonderful 4th with family. thanks for all the good wishes and hope yours was good too!
really loving the easy way to do scrapbook pages with Picasa! love that it is free and easy to do! I do love ps7 but some times I get in over my head and one page takes me for ever. This way is faster when I just want to get it done for the blog. Ok, must go clean the house now!

It is hot here and so humid. Makes me not even want to go out side. I went out to get a few photos for my Picture Summer but came right back in. I have a photo in my head that I want of Noah for a 4th of July photo but I know he will be moody in the heat. sigh. So, may not happen this year?
I just got done making two batches of brownies and banana cup cakes to take over to my parents cook out. Feel so blessed to be here with my family on this wonderful holiday.

The first week of The Sunday Creative – Open. Took this from the car last Sunday. I was with one of my sisters on the way to a Pampered Chef party at her sister-in-laws house. It was a good time. Now, I am the lucky next host!
Hope everyone has had a great week. Ours has been busy and I am so behind. I have so many photos to post but need the time to do so. I hope to get Noah’s last ball game and our trip to Morgan’s Wonderland up soon. Joel has a 4 day weekend so we will have a great long weekend!
