He loves rolling the play doh. then we place it on the letter A I wrote on the paper.
He is very careful and wants it to be just so.
we rolled out two long and one short
He loves to finish making the letters
After he cuts the play doh. This is his favorite part.
Noah has really low muscle tone which makes it hard for him to do a bunch of things most people find very easy to do. He has worked really hard at doing almost everything. Joel and I are proud of every thing he does and all his hard work. He tends to not like to do those things that are hard for him ( who does) but we make it fun and we keep at it at his pace. The goal ...is to make everything fun, fun, fun!
oh, the rain just wont leave. might as well make the best of it with some rain pictures :)
Having a great time with my Mom so far. She is spending her time between my sister and with us. It is just so nice to have her here and just sitting and talking. We had a good laugh at all the unpacking I have not done. Noah is happy. We all are happy. I wonder all the time what he must think happened to everyone back home and why he doesn't see them. So having my Mom here is wonderful for him. He was dancing for her yesterday just like old times. And, hearing her talk to him in Spanish makes me feel at home in my heart :)
we colored the eggs on Saturday and went to Mass later that night.
Noah woke to his Easter basket filled with goodies.
my sister Margie got Noah his cute sock Monkey basket and he loves it
He was so ready to go to my sisters house to see the cousins.
again thanks to my sister Margie for sending us some cascarones (confetti filled eggs) the kids had a blast cracking them on everyone. And, wow, we were surprised when we walked in my sister Barbara's house and find my Mom sitting there :) Noah was so happy and I let out a scream. I'm so happy to have my Mom here for a visit. They wanted to surprise us and we were. We had a great day with everyone. :)
my niece and nephews kids and Noah had a good time hunting eggs. Noah cried when it was time for them all to go home. He loves being with my niece's kids. It breaks my heart when he cries for them. But, we all had a great time and so happy that my Mom is here with us visiting for a while. Makes me feel less home sick.
I went a little crazy this week with the dandelions. They are every where. I have not seen so many before. It must be all the rain? I adore them and taking their photo... and making some wishes too :)
He doesn't like his picture taken much lately. He wont look at the camera or at me if I ask. He doesn't like to pose. He is ok with in the moment photos as they are happening, he will even say cheese and ham it up. I love this photo any way. He looks like sweetness to me :) I love him to the moon...my sweet boy !
We went with my sister to Target the other day and she bought Noah a new dinosour. He just loves these things.
More rain here today. I am starting to see that it must rain here all the time? ugh! We dont get so much rain back in San Antonio and I guess that is why everything looks brown. lol I cant wait to see all the green in some nice warm weather. I know it is coming very soon...I hope.
on our way to see the Easter Bunny. he was happy until I pulled the camera out lol
we played on the play ground and sat by the pond after seeing the bunny.
I just thought this was a cool picture of Noah
He was the first one to see the bunny and he was very shy. he wouldnt even look at me. lol
He had a good time after with the other kids and we had lunch out so it was a good day.
Joel got home on Friday night and Noah was so happy to see him walking towards the car. We are happy to have him home. The weather has gone back to cold again and we are waiting for the warm weather...sigh.
Hope to take Noah to get his hair cut today. We have tried the last few days and he is not in the mood to go.
We lost our power on Monday around 3:30 and it never came back on till 8:30 that night. We kept busy and I just kept praying it would come back on. We were getting ready to go to bed and boom it came back on finally. Noah and I were so happy! I'm sick of the rain and wind here. Our house sounds like it will lift up and blow away every time its windy out. Really scary.
Joel got to San Antonio just fine and called once he got to my parents house. We got to see everyone on face time on the iPhone and that was great. Even got to see my sweet Coco. I miss her so much. He is loving the weather and the food and being with the family and his unit. When we dropped him off at the airport Noah kept saying, 'bye Dad", "have fun in Texas". it was so cute. He is missing him like crazy right now. He has been in a crabby mood the last two days. Today, I closed a drawer and he thought it was the door and ran downstairs to look for Joel....breaks my heart. We look forward for Joel to get back home!
these are growing in the back yard already even with the cold weather and the snow we had the other day. We are waiting, waiting for spring. I hope it comes very, very soon. The sun is out today so that is wonderful.
Joel leaves on Monday for two weeks...sigh. He has duty back home. He gets to be in the warm weather and spend time with the family and eat great Mexican food and well... just gets to be home. Noah and I will be busy here with school and trying not to be bored :) Maybe I will finally get some more unpacking done and move rooms around and get rid of a bunch of stuff taking up space. I so need to get a school room set up again and a small space for it in the dinning area as well, for messy things like painting.
